Chisel Sharpening Guide Plans

This sharpening jig was designed to work with the most common chisel sizes – from 1/4″ (6MM) up to 1″ (25MM). Easy to make from commonly available material, it is put together using simple joinery and can be completed by an average woodworker in an afternoon.
The jig can be customized to work with any size stone (or diamond plate), or can work with wet / dry sand paper directly on a flat surface. Setting it up is fast and easy, making those sharpening tasks much less of a hassle.
Unlike the popular rolling sharpening guide, this jig is very stable – it holds the chisel firmly and accurately, and will not tip or roll over, dulling your freshly honed edge.
